We were super proud to pick up a copy of TimeOut Singapore this month to find a feature written by Agathe Lee, 'eco-warrior' and "self-confessed clothes lover" and Indosole fan. She was featured to highlight her contributions to the conscious-living movement in Singapore and her involvement as co-founder of Singapore’s first multi-brand green lifestyle store, The Green Collective, an Indosole stockist.
Agatha was invited by TimeOut to be a guest writer as an industry insider and highlights her experience in shaping and encouraging green living in Singapore.
Included in Agatha’s tips for How to Shop Sustainably in Singapore is to look for up cycled items. She says, "With so much waste generated, some brands are looking to close the loop by using items that would have otherwise been disposed of. We love brands such as Indosole which crafts footwear from old tires, and Muta.Wear, which makes unique fashion pieces and accessories from scraps. August Society design swimsuits that are manufactured from waste plastic bottles, discarded fishing nets and old carpets."
