Singapore Fashion Style Goes Green with Mae Tan

New to the sustainability scene, fashion queen Mae Tan is out to prove that sustainability can be sexy and it shouldn't have to come down to giving up the things you love. She is all about easy to implement little green swaps that we can all get behind.

Indosole is one of her favourite sustainable asian brands she showcased along wtih luxury pre-loved fashion platform, @styletribute and sustainable reusable takeaway brand, @barepack.co

The problem the world is facing? Massive amount of tyre waste.
Our solution? Footwear made with recycled tyres and natural rubber.

It all comes down to small greener steps we can take to make a bigger impact.

Going green doesn't have to be hard and you definitely don't have to compromise your lifestyle to be sustainable.

#CONSCIOUSBRANDS: last week we talked about Bcorp, and this week we're also featuring another Bcorp: @indosole_sg! 👣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏽 If you're looking for a conscious footwear brand that focuses on environmental and social impact, Indosole might be the one for you. Indosole turns the massive amount of tyre waste in the world (in stockyards, illegal dumping sites, and even rivers) that basically can't decompose and that are sometimes even burned (⚠️toxic fumes!⚠️) into the soles of some of the most durable footwear around. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🌏 So far, Indosole has prevented over 100,000 tires from ending up in landfills and have turned those tires into over 230,000 pair of shoes! Not only that, but they've also partnered with organisations that contribute to the planet's well being and often conduct beach clean-ups, give-backs, and community-based events.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And it's ethically-made too! Next time you find your sandals, flipflops (whatever you call them) wearing out, you know where to go. ✨
